Sources
The law, not our reading of it.
The thresholds and laws in force we show come with their official source and the date we read it, and we publish how many do. This page shows how that works, and where it stops.
Receipts
One value, and where it comes from
A live value from our data, exactly as its country guide shows it: the figure, the provision it comes from, the date we read it, and a link to the official text.

Coverage
Coverage, stated openly
101 of 136 values from the law across 29 jurisdictions carry a source and the date we read it.
27 are cited to a provision of enacted law and 51 to an enacted instrument without a provision. 21 come from draft legislation and are marked as drafts; 2 rest on guidance or on our own reading of the law.
A value without a source has no source line on the site. These figures are recomputed from our data every night.
The rule
Cite it or mark it
A new value can't ship without a source, a read date, and whether it is enacted or draft. A value we can't source is shown without a source line, never with a guessed one, and the number of them can only fall.
The corpus
The law itself, in its own languages
Primary law
Primary law in its authentic languages. Retrieval returns only provisions in force on the date you ask about.
Ask Paritir
Ask Paritir answers from retrieved law and your own calculations. An answer that cites nothing it retrieved is refused.
Scored on every change
Retrieval is scored against a fixed question set on every change.
A model, not a lawyer
Ask Paritir is a research aid, not legal advice. Read our assumptions and limits.
Watching the source
Checked daily at the source
Official journals
We check each EU member state's official journal and EUR-Lex daily. Any change to your obligations waits for human review.
Alerts
When a reviewed change alters your obligations in a country where you operate, you're told in the app and by email.
Check it yourself
Check an evidence pack yourself
Anyone can check a signed evidence pack at app.paritir.com/verify, without logging in. The file is hashed in your browser and never uploaded.
Evidence packs are digitally signed with a key held in a cloud key vault, with an independent timestamp when the timestamp service responds.
Limits
Where this stops
- Read on a date
- Each source line shows the date we read the source. A later change reaches your obligations only after human review.
- Tiers
- Values carry a tier: enacted law, draft or guidance. Drafts are marked as drafts.
- What is covered
- Source lines cover thresholds and laws in force. Deadlines and competent authorities don't carry them.
- Not legal advice
- Paritir is a statistical and compliance tool, not legal advice.
