For developers
Connect your HRIS and ATS to Paritir
The Integration API lets your systems send employee and job-posting data to Paritir on a schedule, so the pay-gap analysis runs on current data without a manual CSV import. It is built for whoever does the integration work: an advisory firm, the client's IT team, or Paritir's own engineers.
What it does
Three jobs, one API
Employee batches
Send employee records in batches. Paritir matches each one on your external ID, then on email, updates what changed and works out salary and role history from those changes, so you never send history yourself.
Map your fields once
Send a few sample rows and Paritir proposes how your HRIS fields map to its own. A person confirms the map once and it is saved as a source profile. Later syncs apply it as saved, and hold a batch back if your source's structure changes.
Postings in, compliance out
Send job postings from your ATS. Paritir checks each one against the pay-transparency rules of your headquarters country, and you can read the result back for every posting.
Access
OAuth 2.0, scoped to one organisation
Client credentials
Your system exchanges a client ID and secret for an access token. Tokens last 15 minutes; ask for a new one when it runs out. There are no static API keys.
One organisation per credential
A token reads and writes only the organisation that issued its credential. The organisation comes from the credential, never from the request.
Only the scopes you grant
Each credential carries the scopes chosen when it was created, such as writing employees or reading postings. A call outside them is refused.
Created and revoked in the app
An organisation's Owner or Admin creates credentials under Settings → Integrations. The secret is shown once and stored only as a hash. Revoking a credential stops its tokens straight away.
Get a token, then send a batch

The endpoints that are live today
Requests and responses are JSON. Every call is logged against your organisation.
Base URL https://app.paritir.com/v1
| Method | Path | Scope | What it does |
|---|---|---|---|
| POST | /oauth/token | — | Exchange client credentials for a 15-minute access token. |
| POST | /employees:batch | workforce:write | Create or update employees in one batch. |
| POST | /employees:map-preview | workforce:write | Propose a field map from sample rows. Writes nothing. |
| POST | /postings:batch | postings:write | Create or update job postings in one batch. |
| GET | /postings | postings:read | List postings with their compliance result, newest first. |
| GET | /postings/{posting_reference} | postings:read | Read one posting by your own reference. |
Safe to retry
Send an Idempotency-Key header with a batch. Repeating the key returns the first result without writing again; a key whose run is still going gets HTTP 409.
Paging and filters
The postings list pages with limit and an opaque cursor, and filters by status and by updated_since.
Errors and limits
Errors come back as JSON with a message. Validation names the fields at fault and never repeats the values you sent. Calls are rate-limited per organisation; over the limit you get HTTP 429.
Status
What the API doesn't do yet
The API carries data in and job postings out. Pay-gap results, reports and joint pay assessments stay in the app for now. There are no webhooks and no sandbox environment yet, so a new integration is set up against a real organisation, with our help.
API access comes with an account
Paritir is invite-only while we work with our first customers and advisory firms. Once your organisation is set up, its Owner or Admin can create API credentials.
